Designer Note
Not only is the completed model a beautiful collector's item for any Trek fan, but the build experience is also special. With two different build styles included: a multi-colored Technic superstructure, and detailed random greebling on the exterior panels, it makes for a fun, multi-hour adventure! A sphere was a must-have feature of the cube, but I wanted to elevate the build experience and completed model with a hidden play feature. It was a challenge, but I couldn't be happier with the result! The Technic mechanism to launch the sphere is hidden inside the cube, and dial to rotate the mechanism is integrated into the panel's greebling. Just turn the dial and launch the sphere!
