While its appearance in Star Trek: Picard is known for its role in the Changeling infiltration of Starfleet, the Intrepid features a unique engineering section suspended from the main saucer section.

Designer Note
The Intrepid was also known for emoting on screen after taking damage from Ro Laren's shuttle, its ominous movements telling an entire story about the compromised crew's intentions. I wanted to make sure the ship matched the proportions from this iconic scene, making sure the nacelles and deflector dish placement was perfect - I'm happy it looks pretty darn close!
