"She's heading for the Intrepid's port nacelle!" - Seven of Nine

Borrowing design elements from the Enterprise-G (MTM-009) and Stargazer (MTM-036), the USS Intrepid NCC-79520 fit right into 25th century Starfleet design. While its appearance in Star Trek: Picard is known for its role in the Changeling infiltration of Starfleet, the Intrepid features a unique engineering section suspended from the main saucer section.

This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Intrepid's perfectly round saucer section, low-profile secondary hull, and unique details like multiple sensor arrays and impulse engines.

DESIGNER NOTE: The Intrepid was also known for emoting on screen after taking damage from Ro Laren's shuttle, its ominous movements telling an entire story about the compromised crew's intentions. I wanted to make sure the ship matched the proportions from this iconic scene, making sure the nacelles and deflector dish placement was perfect - I'm happy it looks pretty darn close!
