The iconic Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Balance of Terror" was our first introduction to the now iconic Romulan Bird of Prey. Making various appearances throughout the franchise, the vessel repressed a new threat from an old enemy - armed with a cloaking device and powerful plasma weapon.
This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Bird of Prey's distinct silhouette, round warp nacelles, and orange-painted bird on the underside of the hull.

DESIGNER NOTE: With the exception of the label, no model requires stickers - a big design constraint, especially when there needs to be a giant bird on the hull! But, the brick-built bird in Orange is something I'm proud of and helps bring the shape of the bird of prey to life. The 2026 refit more closely matches source material thanks to new 1x2 wedge tiles!
