Custom Star Trek Model Instructions | Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier

"Admiral...it is the Enterprise." - Pavel Chekov

Launched in 1960 and making an appearance in Star Trek IV: The Voyager Home, the USS Enterprise CVN-65 was the first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in the US Navy. The vessel was boarded by Pavel Chekov and Nyota Uhura when the crew of the 23rd century Enterprise traveled back in time to 1986 to steal two humpback whales from San Francisco. The Enterprise also appeared in Archer's ready room during Star Trek: Enterprise, as well as in the observation lounge aboard the Enterprise-D (MTM-006).

This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Enterprise's dark red lower hull, bridge tower, and various vehicles and aircraft on its flight deck.

​DESIGNER NOTE: While the actual Enterprise wasn't used for the filming of The Voyage Home, I was still antsy to get this vessel re-created in model form. I wanted to ensure that the hull began as one-stud wide before sloping to five-studs wide, showcasing the dramatic slope of the hull into the flight deck.
