The hero ship of Star Trek: Prodigy, the USS Protostar NX-76884 was captained by Chakotay before he ran head-first into a temporal anomaly. Then, a ragtag group of kids found the ship and eventually returned the vessel to Starfleet with the help of holographic and Admiral Kathryn Janeway.


This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Protostar's black-accented hull, large transparent bridge window, and includes a removable aft section and foldable nacelles to re-create the Protostar's unique hull configuration at warp.

​DESIGNER NOTE: The best part of this collection is not being beholden to a particular scale. I can attempt to design the most accurate ship possible at its smallest scale, which sometimes results in creating a model solely based on a single piece. In this case, it's the Trans-Black Modified 1x1 Plate with Horizontal Tooth (49668), which represents the large bridge window. This is also the only model in the collection that requires modifying an element - I won't spoil it, but the way to get an orange bar inside the nacelle for the perfect bussard collector is a first for me!
