The Voyager (MTM-015) crew was not prepared to encounter another stranded Starfleet vessel in the Delta Quadrant, let alone one like that of the USS Equinox NCC-72381. The Equinox's sole appearance in the eponymous two-parter was not the only time we've seen a Nova class ship on screen - it appeared in refit configuration in Voyager's finale "Endgame," Star Trek: Picard, and Star Trek: Lower Decks.
