Heavily featured in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Picard, this modern update on the Original Series Romulan Bird of Prey (MTM-073) was seen in an alternate 23rd and late 24th centuries. This iteration maintains several design similarities to its older counterpart including a painted bird on the underside of the hull and swept back nacelles.


This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Bird of Prey's dual-painted hull, dark red painted bird, and green accents on the nacelles and main body.

​DESIGNER NOTE: While it may seem like a more niche choice, this Bird of Prey appears in one of my favorite Trek episodes, "A Quality of Mercy" from Strange New Worlds. I love the Dark Red bird on the underside and with new angled tile pieces available, the hull came together! This model began as a refit of the new version of the TOS Bird of Prey but was extensively changed to ensure accuracy.
