The USS Excelsior NCC-42037 first appeared in Star Trek: Picard's second season before making numerous appearances throughout its final season. A clear evolution of the original Excelsior's (MTM-018) design, this Excelsior II class elongates the saucer and engineering section for a streamlined look.
This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Excelsior's longer saucer section, elegant nacelles, and sloping neck.

DESIGNER NOTE: The use of the 3x3 quarter tile in dark bluish gray was key to getting the concentric circles of this Excelsior just right. Borrowing elements from the original, but elongating and improving upon them, the engineering section and neck slopes right into other parts of the vessel for a clean silhouette.
