Custom Star Trek Model Instructions | Earth Orbiter Space Shuttle
"I called her "Spike" because she's got these kick-ass aerospike engines to use less fuel." - Renée Picard
The Enterprise OV-165 is featured in the opening credits of Star Trek: Enterprise and in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Two of One." Developed for Trek to be a futuristic evolution of the existing space shuttle program, this sleeker craft served NASA in the 2010s and 2020s.
This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Enterprise's wide by curvy hull, upward angled wings, unique engine section, and pointed front-end.

DESIGNER NOTE: This Enterprise was surprisingly challenging to capture at this scale due to its thin profile, distinct wedge shape, and rounded hull. However, the use of 88930 (Slope, Curved 2 x 4 x 2/3 with Bottom Tubes) helped achieve the exact look of the real vessel. I'm glad it finally got some attention in Star Trek: Picard!
