Custom Star Trek Model Instructions | Farragut Type Starship

While we knew of James T. Kirk's service aboard the Farragut from The Original Series, we didn't get a look at the USS Farragut NCC-1647 until the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds alternate-future episode, "A Quality of Mercy." Sharing many qualities with its Constitution class counterpart (MTM-032), the Farragut has the similar saucer section to the Enterprise, but as seen in SNW's second season, a much different paint scheme.

This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Farragut's compact engineering hull, split impulse engines, and angled nacelle supports.

DESIGNER NOTE: While the ship shares similarities with the Enterprise from Strange New Worlds, the support the Enterprise ​gets from its neck is not present on the Farragut. This presented an interesting challenge of how to support the impulse engines while maintaining their accuracy. The result makes for an interesting build and great display!
