Custom Star Trek Model Instructions | V'Ger Evolved NASA Probe

While the crew of the newly refit Enterprise (MTM-003) didn't know it at the time, but V'Ger was an evolved NASA probe on the hunt for continued evolution. This enormous vessel contained an intriguing secret...a human-made NASA probe that may or may not be present in this model too!

This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures V'Ger's rounded hull, hexagonal hull spikes, and rear propulsion.

DESIGNER NOTE: V'Ger's sturdy core and six-sided construction  was a fun feat of engineering to design. In order to mimic V'Ger's organic, hexagonal shape, I used many 4-Sided Modified Bricks (4733) and SNOT techniques. The result is a strong design that's flexible enough to accommodate the strange, torpedo-like shape of the probe. But, I'm most proud of the Bowl Piece (50018f) used to represent the original Voyager VI satellite.
