A fixture of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, the Whale Probe is accompanied by George & Gracie, the humpback whales brought back from the 1980's to save humanity. This model even includes a one-piece representation of Spock's mind meld with the pregnant Gracie!


This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the probe's cylindrical hull, spherical front probe, and the famous pair of humpback whales used to repopulate the then-extinct species!

​DESIGNER NOTE: The first piece that came to mind for this model was a classic - 30360, 3x6 Cylinder - which has been around since 1999. It's been featured in dozens of starships in official sets, so it's fitting that it finds itself a part of a starship again in this collection. George & Gracie are subtly different, with Gracie being appropriately larger since she's pregnant in the film!
