The fourth and final Tales of Trek reminds us of what might be Trek's most lasting principle - IDIC. Set on the planet Vulcan, this postcard sees Mount Seleya, the Vulcan sun, and one of the planet's two moons form the iconic IDIC symbol. Just as important as this ideal, the stolen Klingon Bird of Prey (HMS Bounty) is a reminder of the important role that family and friendship play in the franchise - as the setting of this model is where Spock was reborn.

Taking inspiration from LEGO's "Tales of the Space Age," this detailed custom model is made for LEGO bricks. Perfect to display at home, the model can be hung on the wall using a specialized piece or displayed standing on a desk or shelf.

DESIGNER NOTE: Like each Tales of Trek, I included a modified version of a micro vessel that appears in the Advent Calendar. In order to keep the footprint of the postcard equal for each model, the Bird of Prey was further shrunk. Mount Seleya was created with many overlapping wedge and slope pieces, but I'm very happy with how smooth and uniform the base of the model is, matching its source material (Trek and the official set).
