The Scimitar was a product of Shinzon's desire for revenge against the Federation and Captain Picard - armed with 52 disruptor cannons, 27 torpedo tubes, and a thalaron-based biogenic weapon. This was the primary adversary of Star Trek: Nemesis, stopped by the Enterprise-E (MTM-007) and a pair of advanced Romulan Warbirds (MTM-077).
This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Scimitar's sweeping wings, vast weapons arrays, and armored hull.

DESIGNER NOTE: An oft-requested model, the Scimitar presented some unique design challenges including large wings that are angled in two places, strange rear pods that are both sloped and angled inward, and a heavily armored hull. The wings are double-jointed thanks to 93789 (Minifigure Spear) that allow alternating clips on two sides to accurately capture the dramatic wing silhouette. The weapons pods are built thanks to 15362 (Hero Factory Blade) and some securely placed clips and technic arms. Finally, the armored wings get their look from triangular and pentagonal tiles, along with touches of Flat Silver accents throughout.
