Custom Star Trek Model Instructions | Inquiry Class Starship
"Right now I'm on the bridge of the toughest, fastest, most powerful ship Starfleet ever put into service." - William T. Riker
Warping in to help save Admiral Jean-Luc Picard, the USS Zheng He NCC-86505 first appears in the season one finale of Star Trek: Picard before making appearances in subsequent seasons. This is the first Starfleet vessel of the 25th century that we see on screen - and what an impression it makes.
This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the Zheng He's embedded impulse engines, sloping nacelles, and uniquely rectangular deflector dish.

DESIGNER NOTE: Two of my favorite Starfleet design elements are present in the Zheng He - recessed impulse engines that are inside the main saucer section, and the angled warp nacelles. Both of these features presented fun model design challenges, and resulted in a ship that shares many elements with past Starfleet ships while modernizing them for the 25th century.
