As the primary support craft of Deep Space Nine for the first few seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and beyond, the USS Rio Grande NCC-72452 Runabout made dozens of appearances in and out of the Gamma Quadrant!

This detailed model made for LEGO bricks was created to the exact specs of the real thing. It accurately captures the runabout's golden impulse engines, rear habitat pod, and uniquely sloped main cabin.

DESIGNER NOTE: It's always an interesting build when a model has a 3-wide base that becomes a 2-wide base towards the cockpit. I like how the main
module flows into the cabin at the front, with the sloping impulse engines leading into the nacelles. I have the Hallmark ornament runabout out every Christmas, and it was important for me to get this one right!
